Today, basking in the fact that I've graduated, I decided to pop the cherry of this section of the forum (and yes, I am eating cherries for real at the moment). So (naturally without any selfish wishes to find more anime to watch for myself) I've decided that we should discuss anime about musicians of various sorts (bands or individual artists).

I'm gonna go all out and list the ones I've found (and watched) based on the genre/demographic and music genre and add my favourite song from it.

Here are my contributions:
Gravitation - Techno/dance/pop. Favourite song: In the Moonlight
Fujimi Orchestra - Classical. Favourite song: None. The anime sucked...

Kaikan Phrase - J-rock. Favourite song: "Dummy" by Aucifer
La Corda d'Oro - Classical. Favourite piece: Massenet's "El├ęgie" (with trumpet)
Nodame Cantabile - Classical. Favourite piece: ... haven't got a definitive favourite, maybe Ravel's "Jeux D'eau"
NANA - J-rock/-punk. Favourite piece: "Kuroi Namida" by Anna Tsuchiya
Ai shite night - J-rock/-pop... possibly. Have only watched one episode of it and waiting for more subbed ones.
